In 2020, at the age of 42 I had a stroke in my left hemisphere which left me with a disability called aphasia which means difficulty with speaking and understanding. Reading and writing are also challenging and make it difficult for me to read text. I can hear and understand but am not always able to translate thoughts to words or speech. I can use Text-to-Speech.
